Senior Trust Officer/Assistant Trust Manager

Job

An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Family Office team, delivering high-quality trust and fiduciary services to a defined portfolio of private clients! The role offers scope to operate at Senior Officer level or progress into an Assistant Trust Manager position, depending on experience.

Location Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trust and fiduciary structures.
  • Delivering a consistently high standard of client service across all aspects of trust administration.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and professional advisers.
  • Preparing and reviewing trust documentation, resolutions and correspondence.
  • Ensuring structures are administered in line with trust deeds, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the Manager with the organisation and prioritisation of daily workloads.
  • Providing guidance and support to less experienced team members.
  • Assisting with or overseeing the preparation of client reviews and reporting.
  • At Assistant Trust Manager level, managing staff performance and development.
  • Deputising for the Manager in departmental matters as required.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within trust and fiduciary administration, with the ability to manage a portfolio independently and deliver excellent client service. They will demonstrate sound technical knowledge, strong organisational skills and the confidence to liaise effectively with clients and advisers. Candidates operating at Assistant Trust Manager level will also have experience supporting or managing team members and contributing to workload planning.

A proactive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building a long‑term career within a Family Office environment are essential.
