Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor to oversee and coordinate demolition projects on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring safety standards, and delivering projects efficiently and within scope.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong management skills to lead demolition operations effectively. The Demolition Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity throughout all phases of the project.

Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise demolition teams, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications

* Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless communication and workflow

* Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

* Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions

* Manage resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise productivity

* Provide training and guidance to team members on safe work practices and operational procedures

* Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and project milestones for reporting purposes

Qualifications

* Proven experience in supervising demolition projects or similar construction activities

* Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively

* Hold a valid CCDO Card and First Aid Cert

* Demonstrable supervising experience in a high-risk environment with a focus on safety compliance

* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise tasks efficiently

* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members

* Relevant health and safety certifications are highly desirable
