Quantity Surveyor Data Centre Blyth Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland. Responsibilities Commercial Management & Cost Control Manage and monitor project costs across multiple packages, ensuring accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and strict budget control on a large-scale data centre project. Subcontractor Procurement & Packages Lead procurement of subcontract packages, including tendering, analysis, negotiation, and appointment, ensuring best value and alignment with project programme.

Valuations, Variations & Payments Prepare and manage interim valuations, variations, and payment applications, ensuring all commercial activities are accurately recorded and agreed. Contract Administration & Risk Management Administer contracts in line with project requirements, identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies to protect margins. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting Work closely with project teams, site management, and subcontractors to provide regular commercial updates, cost reports, and support decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Requirements Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background Must have 6 years previous experience in a similar role on Data Centres or similar large scale construction projects Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK Benefits £70,000 - £90,000  Package
