Newbattle Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are flexible about the number of sessions worked each week and are happy to discuss a working pattern that suits the successful candidate. With our eConsult online triage model , GPs have a high degree of flexibility and control over their working day.
We offer an excellent remuneration package , with indemnity costs covered by the Practice, and we are very happy to support GPs who wish to develop or continue a portfolio career .
We are a large, friendly, innovative and dynamic Practice with 7 GP Partners and 11 Salaried GPs , caring for approximately 24,000 patients across a diverse local population.
We are committed to providing high-quality primary care while creating a supportive and sustainable working environment for our clinical team.
We:
- Follow BMA guidance on the number of appointments per session
- Provide 15-minute appointments
- Offer flexibility around the number of sessions worked
- Support GPs wishing to pursue portfolio interests
- Run an active programme of clinical education and team meetings
Our modern, purpose-built medical centre provides an excellent working environment and is approximately 20 minutes from Edinburgh . We also have a smaller satellite Practice around five miles away in a neighbouring village.
