Pathways To Success, a provision for secondary pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs, is seeking an exceptional teacher. This is your chance to bring your energy and expertise to a setting where you can truly make a difference. You will help young people to access the full curriculum and the creative freedom to deliver dynamic, engaging lessons using alternative delivery styles such as outdoor learning and exciting enterprise projects.

We are specifically looking for a creative teacher who operates with an unconditional positive regard and is skilled in trauma-informed practice. If you are successful, our offer of employment will be conditional on satisfactory completion of pre-employment requirements, such as medical screening, two written references (one from your most recent/current employer), verification of original qualifications and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom. Registration with the General Teaching Council and a satisfactory PVG check for Regulated Work with Children are essential.

Regulated Work with Children
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children. Successful candidates require a PVG Scheme membership for Regulated Work with Children, or a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment. The cost may be met by the applicant and will be deducted from salary as applicable over several pay periods.
If already employed, the Council may cover the Application Fee.
