Job Overview

We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Cook to join the team in our Coffee Shop at Mayfield Garden Centre. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.45 and requires 40 hours per week over 5 days, with weekend shifts required for flexibility.

As a Cook, you will produce a range of meals and snacks from our menu, work as part of a small team under the guidance of the Coffee Shop Manager, and be passionate about freshly prepared food served with the highest levels of customer service.

• Prepare fresh ingredients.
• Prepare hot and cold food orders to order.
• Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process.
• Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste.
• Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards.
• Close down the kitchen each day, including preparation for the following day.
