Pay and HoursOur Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25.
For all hours worked between midnight and 6:00 you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week; if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) opportunities are available.
The table shows the periods of time we would like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We schedule your contracted hours within these times and give you three weeks notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility; if the times you are available match closely but not exactly to the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.
