People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing night shift work with excellent rates of pay and long-term opportunities.

Working as part of a two-person crew, you will complete trunking runs between distribution centres, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely, and efficiently.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an LGV Driver, CategoryC+E Driver, or Trunking Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £19.10 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Night shift
• Start times between 5:30pm and 6:30pm

Overtime:

• Overtime paid after 8 hours

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will work:

• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
• Ensuring all goods are transported safely and securely
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
• Following Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
