HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights - £18.00PH People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights to join our well-established client based in Stafford, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, immediate starts, and a supportive working environment. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver , LGV CE Driver , Class 1 Driver , CE Driver , Trunk Driver , or Night Driver .

Shifts
• Working 5 nights between Monday and Sunday
• Start times between 18:00 and 21:00 Rates of Pay • £18.00 per hour

• Temporary to permanent opportunities (where applicable) Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver – Nights , your duties will include:
• Completing between 1 and 3 deliveries using pump trucks
• Operating and driving Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely before transportation
• Complying with all road traffic legislation and tachograph regulations
• Communicating effectively with the transport team and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly
• Assisting with loading and unloading where required Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A valid UK Category CE (Class
1) Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsements
• A good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• A good understanding of road traffic laws and driver regulations
• Strong communication skills

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries Training Provided
