- Dalkeith / Newtongrange People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a consistent dayshift role offering ongoing work and competitive rates of pay. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an HGV Class 1 Driver , LGV Driver , or Category CE Driver .

Rates of Pay: £16.10 per hour Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday Start time: 9:00am Overtime:

As a Class 1 Driver , you will work:
Completing multi-drop deliveries across Scotland Loading and unloading goods where required Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule Completing all relevant paperwork and using handheld devices where required Complying with all Drivers' Hours, Tachograph, and Road Traffic Regulations Delivering excellent customer service Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a Class 1 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category CE (Class
1) driving licence A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious Ability to work independently and manage your own route Desirable

Experience:

Previous multi-drop driving experience is advantageous but not essential Training:
Full paid site induction provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply:
