Location: Dallas, Oregon. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This is a full‑time position and eligible for benefits.
DescriptionAscentec Engineering is hiring a CNC Equipment and Facility Maintenance Technician. The role primarily involves day‑to‑day preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibration on a variety of CNC machinery and equipment, along with facilities maintenance and continuous improvement activities throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on CNC equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the facility and enhance coworker working environment.
- Assist in delivery, placement, and installation of new capital equipment and coordinate OEM technicians and third‑party contractors.
- Ensure all equipment is safe to operate; lock‑out/tag‑out unsafe machinery.
- Use factory documentation, third‑party resources, and technical experience to troubleshoot, replace faulty components, and source replacements.
- Perform day‑to‑day preventative maintenance on HVAC units and complex standalone machinery.
- Respond quickly to machine failures or conditions that result in loss of productivity.
- Self‑starter, capable of operating efficiently without direct supervision.
- Positive and dependable attitude.
- 1+ years in machinery/facilities maintenance.
- Experience with CNC equipment from manufacturers such as FANUC, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, YCM, and others.
- Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, circuit breakers, PLCs, relays, and other common industrial electrical components.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, flow controls, pumps, valves.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and other materials.
- Familiarity with common shop hand tools, measurement tools (dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, etc.) and power tools; use tools safely and effectively.
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG) is a plus but not required.
- Forklift / manlift experience is a plus but not required.
- Capable of working in tight or confined work spaces.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights up to 24 feet.

- Compensation DOE; range $22 to $37 per hour.
