DescriptionAscentec is hiring! We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team in Dallas, Oregon
. This is an excellent "foot in the door" opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail. We like to grow our talent from within -- come get started with us and carve your own career path!
Swing Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
- CNC setup and operation
- Teach tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly
- Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance
- Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
- Note:
Trade school and/or at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Reliable and dependable
- Self-starter/self-motivated
- Team player with professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations
- Quality oriented

- $18 to $23 per hour
