Description:

Contractor Sales Are you someone who enjoys building strong relationships and helping contractors get the right materials for the job? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Contractor Salesperson to join our hardware store team in Dallas, Oregon.

What You’ll Do:

Education and Experience:

High School Graduate or Vocational School Graduate. At least two year’s experience in building materials/hardware industry.

Experience:

Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships, and working with customers . Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word, and Excel is a plus. A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

Physical Requirements:

Able to independently lift up to 100 lbs on a frequent basis Able to stand for up 8 hours a day Standing, stretching, squatting, lifting, crouching, kneeling, and other awkward positions. Climbing and descending ladders. The yard environment is characterized by the presence of noise, vehicular fumes and other elements found in a yard environment. Exposure to varying weather conditions including temperature extremes and precipitation.
