Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with a minimum of 4–5 years of accounting experience. The role involves significant portions of the month‑end general ledger close processes, supporting the Accounting Manager, and ensuring that accounting records for the various entities are properly maintained, including a foreign subsidiary.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring the integrity of financial statements and general ledger accounts in compliance with GAAP and company policy.
  • Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations, including in‑depth analyses of material accounts.
  • Provide accounting and financial support to management as needed.
  • Prepare cash‑flow analysis and balance‑sheet comments.
  • Assist with financial statement reviews and inter‑company transactions and balances.
  • Maintain documentation of procedures and workflows for assigned areas.
  • Work with external accounting firms to ensure foreign entity books are properly maintained and review tax calculations for foreign entities.
  • Support other accounting areas, such as gathering information for tax preparers, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Perform special tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Assist with migration to a new accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Help implement AI technologies to support automation.
  • Ensure controls are followed as part of our minimum control framework.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 4–5 years of accounting experience in a dynamic organization.
  • Public accounting firm experience with a mix of audit and tax duties.
  • Experience with G/L and month‑end close process under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and commit to timely completion of tasks.
  • Eager to learn and grow with the organization.
  • Strong MS Excel skills (prerequisite).
  • Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems (plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and reconcile complex general ledger accounts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain information in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English.
