Are you an audit professional ready to take the next step toward full engagement ownership? I’m partnering with a highly respected public accounting firm that is expanding its Assurance team and looking for a Senior I Accountant who’s eager to grow, lead, and deepen their technical expertise.

As a Senior I, you’ll take on diversified assurance work and begin leading engagements from planning through delivery. You’ll:

• Supervise Staff I & II team members and manage workflow on engagements
• Lead key audit sections, perform technical procedures, and review work papers
• Plan engagements, manage budgets, and communicate progress to leadership
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, audit reports, and client correspondence
• Evaluate internal controls, perform analytical procedures, and assess risk
• Support, guide, and train staff to help them develop professionally
• Handle a broad range of accounting, audit, and review responsibilities with increasing autonomy

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting
• 2–3 years of public accounting experience (audit/assurance), or 6–7 years of comparable industry audit experience
• CPA license (or active pursuit toward 150 hours + exam)
• Strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge and the ability to research technical issues
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, budgets, and communication across teams
• Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word; audit software experience is a plus (CCH Engagement helpful)
• Excellent communication, client service, and interpersonal skills
