Pay Range: $30–$35 per hour on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Shared Services Accounting team. This role is critical for supporting daily accounting operations, month‑end close, reconciliations, and coordinating with internal and external audit teams. The position will also assist with cash and banking functions and support continuous process improvements.
This is a 6‑month contract with the potential to convert to a full‑time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily and periodic cash and banking activities, including reconciliations.
- Execute month‑end close processes: prepare, post, and approve journal entries; perform variance analysis.
- Manage accounting activities related to revenue deferrals, marketing, depreciation, legal expenses, and G&A.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of account balances.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve unreconciled items by working with relevant internal teams.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams across North America and international regions.
- Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3+ years of comparable corporate accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Solid experience in month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience with cash and banking accounting operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
- Ability to work effectively within SAP systems (experience with two SAP instances preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- MBA or master’s degree in accounting.
- CPA certification.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
- Prior experience in a large corporate or shared services environment.
The position is back filling a recent resignation and is essential for maintaining continuity in cash operations and month‑end accounting activities. Due to the critical nature of these responsibilities, immediate support is required.
