Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the Dallas, Texas area. This role primarily involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries within the accounting industry. You will also be expected to monitor customer accounts and take the necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.

- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts.

- Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions when necessary.

- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations.

- Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.

- Assist with the month end close process.

- Utilize software such as Net Suite, Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP for accounting tasks. Requirements - Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations

- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately

- Familiarity with General Ledger management

- Expertise in creating and managing Journal Entries

- Experience in Month End Close procedures

- Knowledge of Net Suite accounting software

- Proficiency in Oracle financial software

- Experience in using Quick Books for accounting tasks

- Familiarity with SAP financial software
