LHH is working with a prominent company in the Uptown Dallas area that is adding a new Senior Fund Accountant to their team. This role will be over two incline private equity funds and entails overseeing all aspects of accounting and general ledger activities, encompassing the preparation of financial statements, review of accounts payable coding, recording journal entries, and scrutinizing balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy.

This position pays 100K-105K+Bonus and is in office ONLY 2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage accounting and general ledger functions, including the monthly preparation of financial statements for various subsidiaries.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts for multiple subsidiaries, with quarterly consolidation.
  • Aid in audit processes, including the preparation of audited financial statements and footnote disclosures.
  • Ensure adherence to monthly, quarterly, year-end, and project-specific deadlines.
  • Review pertinent legal documents, such as purchase and sale agreements, and management and servicing agreements.
  • Address accounting queries and discrepancies through diligent research and resolution.
  • Undertake additional duties as necessitated.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 3-5 years or more of progressive accounting experience.
  • Previous experience in public accounting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook), People Soft, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financial Consolidation, and adept at learning new software.
