Senior Fund Accountant (Fund Administration)

• Client Service: Develops an understanding of each client’s business and organization operations. Manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Day to Day Transactions: Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
• Month End Processing: Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals) and completes complex reconciliations (investments, debt, industry specific). Prepares and reviews financial statements and general ledger entries. Creates procedural documentation and maintains backup.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit and tax work papers as requested by clients.
• Workflow & Quality: Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts, supervising and ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Special Projects: Assists with internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.

• 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

The wage range for this position in California is $76,.
