We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing CPA firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and coordinate all aspects of tax reporting, compliance, and planning for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax review and accounting advisory, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all tax reporting, compliance, and planning activities.
2. Conducting tax research and planning to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
3. Reviewing and verifying tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant laws.
4. Coordinating with accounting teams to advise on the tax impact of business strategies and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
5. Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize cash flow.
6. Managing relationships with external auditors and tax consultants.
7. Providing leadership, training, and mentorship to junior tax staff.
8. Staying updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law. 9. Working closely with management to provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Tax Manager position, you must have: 1. CPA license required (or actively pursuing CPA with relevant experience) 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax review and accounting advisory. 3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level.
4. Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10. High level of integrity and professionalism.
