Staff Accountant

We are seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This role will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, account reconciliations, invoice processing, cash management, and month-end close activities.

The ideal candidate has strong experience working in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and can independently manage daily accounting responsibilities. Experience with Sage 100 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting activities, including data entry, invoice processing, and accounts payable.
• Process and enter approximately 40-50 invoices per week from Doc Link into Sage 100.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts, including two Morgan Stanley accounts.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and manage cash box balancing.
• Review and reconcile check receipts and deposits.
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Provide accounting support across various functions as business needs arise.
