We have an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator at our main office located in Frisco, TX. The Project Coordinator’s role is to support the project managers, senior staff, and principals of the firm in organizing and managing their projects. The role is vitally important to our engineering and management teams and requires the ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare client proposals
- Soliciting and coordinating specialty subconsultants for each project
- Creating and maintaining project files
- Downloading and organizing digital project related documents
- Set up and editing of projects into the company database
- Communicating project milestones and due dates to the entire team
- Assembling and finalizing client reports for electronic distribution
- Assisting Project and Client Managers and ensuring project activities are completed in a timely manner
- Providing back‑up telephone coverage to the office receptionist
- Assisting the Accounting Department and other Project Coordinators as needed
- General office support and other duties as assigned
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with effective time management and organizational skills
- Willing to dig in and learn on your own as needed
- Candidate must be “responsible” and take ownership of all phases of the project
- Quick learner with solid customer service experience
- Ability to utilize well developed critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe/PDF skills
- Able to multi‑task and set priorities is required in our fast‑paced environment
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Track record of being a cohesive team player
- Strong interpersonal skills are required
- College degree required plus a minimum of 3‑years related experience
