A leading international law firm is seeking a Legal Secretary to support their Investment Funds practice in the Dallas office. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to work with a highly regarded team in a fast-paced, professional environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Legal Secretary, you’ll provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to attorneys and advisors, ensuring exceptional service and seamless day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and conference calls across time zones
  • Coordinating travel arrangements (domestic and international) and maintaining detailed itineraries
  • Handling client billing, time entry, and expense reports in partnership with the firm’s administrative teams
  • Organizing and maintaining case and client files in the document management system
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, and courier services
  • Proofreading and redlining documents for grammar, punctuation, and formatting
  • Conducting research and maintaining client databases and contact lists
  • Coordinating CLE requirements and assisting with document management and filings
  • Collaborating with internal departments and providing back-up support across the practice group

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of legal secretarial experience (Investment Funds or Corporate preferred)
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Net Documents, Chrome River, Inter Action, Intapp, Carpe Diem, or iTimekeep
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional client service orientation and professional communication skills
