* Maintains a high level of customer service for the Mental Health Services Department and consistently performs duties with a high level of customer and community focus.
* Responds to inquiries by disseminating information in an accurate, knowledgeable, efficient, and culturally responsive manner.
* Performs administrative duties including processing routine correspondence, greeting visitors, and typing documents and correspondence for the department.
* Answers incoming calls, takes reliable messages, and routes to appropriate staff.
* Provides administrative support to the Director and staff.
* Generates requisitions for supplies as needed. Facilitates the procurement, inventory, storage, and delivery of supplies and equipment for the department.
* Participates in short and long-range planning of the department as directed by the
department leader and collaborates with Budget Specialist to track departmental expenditures.
* Develops and maintains spreadsheets, databases, graphic, and project management application files for the department.
* Provide regular feedback to supervisor regarding the status of projects or issues.
* Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Associate's Degree from an accredited university preferred.
* 2 or more years of direct experience required.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and complete assignments with minimum direction and supervision
* Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service, supervision, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position.
* Demonstrated proficiency and experience in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphic applications.
* Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of district personnel.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
