Parts Coordinator – Gerber Collision & Glass
Location: Plano Rd., Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full‑time

As a Parts Coordinator, you will ensure the timely and accurate acquisition, storage, and distribution of parts to support our customer‑centric repair operations. Your role is critical in delivering a WOW (Wow Operating Way) experience for every customer.
Key Job Responsibilities- Execute the WOW plan consistently across all parts operations.
- Communicate customer requests and needs to team members.
- Order, receive, and verify parts against repair orders for quality, correctness, and quantity.
- Coordinate timely parts distribution to the shop according to the production schedule.
- Enter parts invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).
- Label and track parts by repair order number; store with the vehicle or scheduled repairs.
- Notify team members of parts price changes (Parts Price Increases – PPI).
- Order supplemental parts, monitor vendor performance, and reconcile the parts vendor invoice history report.
- Post and file vendor invoices and credit memos promptly, ensuring correct negotiated discounts to maintain margins.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts is a bonus).
- Prior customer service experience (2‑3 years) and at least 2–3 years of CCC1 experience.
- Registered with I‑Car (working toward Gold Class certification).
Skills and Abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Ability to manage a fast‑paced environment and multitask under pressure.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair practices.
- Proficiency with MIS tools (Summit, Repair Centre) and vehicle data systems (Mitchell, Audatex).
- Parts sourcing experience with Car‑Part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B.
- Solid problem‑solving abilities and computer proficiency.
- Organizational skills and ability to collaborate toward common goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, and handle tools.
- Lift in excess of 50 lbs.
