The Operations Management Trainee Program trains individuals to assume Plant Supervisor or higher management positions and develops strong mechanical, technical, communication, and leadership skills.

• Participate in an intensive training program to develop a full understanding of plant operations and interdependencies across Sales, HR, Purchasing, IT and Finance/ Accounting.
• Gain experience in safety, quality, production, scheduling, and logistics oversight within the operations environment.
• Learn basic production worker responsibilities and machine operations (e.g., Rollformers, Coil Slitter, Cold Mill Reduction).
• Operate forklifts and cranes as required during training and supervision of front-line production and logistics.
• Engage in machine product scheduling and material resource planning to support production goals.
• Develop leadership and supervisory capabilities in a structured program designed to prepare for supervisory roles.

• The 1-2 year training program prepares candidates for a successful career with Clark Dietrich and provides exposure to the interdependencies of various departments.
• The Operations Management Trainees begin training at a Clark Dietrich manufacturing facility and may be reassigned to another location upon completion.

• A college degree and/or relevant management experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and excellent communication and leadership skills.
