The VP of Sales for Away from Home will play a critical role in driving the strategic vision and accelerated growth of Bimbo Bakeries USA's business within the Away-from-Home ("AFH") Channel. Key responsibilities will include establishing the National, Regional, and Key Account Sales team and onboarding of Broker Partners with the ambition to double the AFH business over the next 5 years.
In this role, you will have a high degree of autonomy and accountability for developing current customers and securing new business opportunities, driving business growth, and fostering strong business partnerships. This dynamic opportunity requires a leader who can strategically influence, develop high-performing teams, and foster collaborative growth across the BBU portfolio. This leader will orchestrate synergies and leverage collaborative best practices to fuel the growth agenda for the US business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision and Accelerated Growth:
Lead the strategic vision of the Away from Home Sales channel, driving accelerated growth, and market expansion through innovative go-to-market strategies and solutions. - Partnership Development and Relationship Amplification:
Cultivate dynamic partnerships, build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, and spearhead business expansion in key channels including non-commercial, non-traditional retail, and traditional food service. - Team Leadership and Empowerment:
Empower and lead a high-performing team, turning their potential into performance and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. - Innovative Sales Planning and Execution:
Drive innovative sales planning, monitor demand forecasting accuracy, and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve volume and trade spend targets for the Away from Home Sales channel. - Strategic Influence and Collaborative Vision:
Champion strategic influence, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide thought leadership to align professional objectives with the strategic vision of Away from Home Sales. Ability to influence and present to the US and global Leadership Teams.

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred (Business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics).
- Minimum of 12 years of successful AFH channel selling and execution experience, with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, execution, and relationship management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute an effective channel strategy and drive the strategic direction of the AFH Team within the organization, aligning them with overall business objectives.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation initiatives or change management efforts in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Financial and analytical acumen with the ability to translate insights into clear business actions.
- Experience implementing or leveraging advanced data/analytics platforms leveraging AI to drive sales outcomes.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-paced and dynamic environment.
- A leader who embodies Bimbo Bakeries USA's values of integrity, teamwork, resiliency, and continuous improvement, and who can develop and inspire talent at every level.
