Base pay range$90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Financial Consultant - Employee Benefits Division (Dallas, TX)
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid - 3 days onsite: Monday, Thursday + 1 flex day)
Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 base salary (DOE)
We’re looking for a Financial Consultant with 1–5 years of experience in benefits analytics, funding strategy, and employer cost management. If you enjoy blending data, strategy, and client engagement, this role puts you right at the center of it.
This is an opportunity to join a team that’s innovating around self-funded strategies, captives, HR tech, and employer engagement - and to do real consulting, not just reporting.
What You’ll Do- Renewal projections, budget modeling, and plan performance analytics
- Self-funded reporting and stop-loss analysis
- Self-funding, level-funding, captives, and alternative plan structures
- Present financial results in-person and via Zoom
- Participate in strategy discussions with HR, Finance, and Executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with consultants, analysts, and leadership on complex accounts
- Help develop new tools, templates, and scalable processes
- Assist with finalist presentations and new business opportunities
- Join training sessions and contribute to team-wide development initiatives
- 1–5 years of experience in employee benefits financial analysis or underwriting
- Strong understanding of medical & ancillary plan performance, funding arrangements, and renewal mechanics
- Confidence presenting financials to HR, Finance, and Executive teams
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and benefits analytics tools
- Experience with mid-market or large-group employer programs
- Someone who enjoys both analytics and client interaction
- A consultant who wants to grow with a high-speed, innovative team
- A problem-solver excited to build new tools, processes, and training materials
- Someone who values in-office collaboration but appreciates flexibility
- Hybrid: 3 days/week in the Dallas office (
Required:
Monday & Thursday + 1 flex day) - Mix of Zoom and in-person client/prospect meetings
