About This RoleThe Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for sourcing new products, developing supplier capabilities, and executing procurement activities that ensure Flooret has the right materials at the right cost, quality, and lead time. This role plays a critical part in expanding and strengthening Flooret’s supplier base while supporting reliable supply for both DTC and Commercial channels.
This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Product Management, Operations, and Finance to translate demand plans and product needs into executed purchase orders and inbound supply. The Procurement Operations Specialist uses existing forecasts to manage replenishment, maintain supply continuity, and surface risks early, while consistently driving suppliers toward improved performance.

Key Responsibilities- Lead sourcing efforts for new products, materials, and supplier options to support portfolio growth and diversification.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers based on cost, lead time, quality standards, capacity, and long‑term fit.
- Develop existing supplier relationships to improve speed, cost competitiveness, quality consistency, and responsiveness.
- Prepare structured supplier comparisons to support sourcing decisions and negotiations.
- Partner with Product Management early in the development process to assess supplier feasibility, timelines, and costs.
- Execute purchase orders using established forecasts and supply plans, adjusting quantities and timing as conditions change.
- Manage supplier confirmations, production schedules, and delivery commitments to ensure reliable supply.
- Support cost negotiations through data‑driven analysis of pricing trends, volume opportunities, and supplier benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation including pricing files, production timelines, and PO records.
- Partner with Finance to resolve invoice discrepancies, update costing, and support landed cost visibility.
- Maintain and update forecast inputs based on supplier lead times, production changes, and inbound timing.
- Run replenishment logic to determine ordering cadence and highlight potential supply risks.
- Identify stockout risks, timing gaps, or capacity constraints and propose mitigation actions.
- Provide clear supply updates and recommendations to Supply Chain leadership.
- Analyze purchasing behavior, supplier performance, lead time trends, and cost patterns.
- Track and report supplier KPIs including OTIF, lead time reliability, defect rates, and responsiveness.
- Prepare weekly procurement and supply updates highlighting risks, opportunities, and required actions.
- Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, sourcing improvements, or cost reduction initiatives.
- Review inventory positions to support procurement timing and replenishment decisions.
- Identify slow‑moving or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate SKU‑level data to support planning and execution.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or operations.
- Experience working directly with domestic and/or international suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience supporting forecasting, replenishment, or supply planning processes.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Mandarin fluency is a nice to have.
- Familiarity with DTC and Commercial channels is preferred.
- Strong sourcing and supplier development capability.
- Data‑informed decision making and structured problem solving.
- Clear, persistent, and effective communication with suppliers and internal partners.
- High attention to detail with strong execution discipline.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, growth‑oriented environments.
