. KHI Medical is a construction company specializing in renovating hospitals and healthcare facilities and installing surgical equipment. We are seeking a local DFW-area superintendent to manage sizeable TI projects, overseeing trade contractors, schedules, and client communication.

As an onsite representative, a KHI Medical superintendent keeps employees, subcontractors, deliveries, and workflow on schedule while communicating with the project team and clients.

• Experience and knowledge of best construction practices
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
• Understanding of building codes
• Ability to communicate the plan of action with team members and clients prior to work
• Manages changes in accordance with KHI Medical and hospital standards
• Provides consistent updates to the project manager via email and phone
• Knowledge of online construction management programs
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including MS Project
• Proficient with Bluebeam

• High school diploma
• Minimum 3 years construction superintendent experience
• Minimum 5 years construction trade experience

• Knowledge of framing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems
• Ability to read plans, decipher instructions, and follow scope of work
• Ability to assess changes in scope and request change orders through the PM
• May be required to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones
• Ability to lift 70 pounds
