What You'll Do
- Ensure all crew members are actively engaged and working in accordance with CIMCO safety and quality procedures
- Work with the Sr. or General Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure active jobs are adequately staffed with the appropriate trades
- Coordinate daily communication and activities with customers, management, and subcontractors onsite
- Plan and coordinate site material and consumable deliveries, ensuring items are onsite and inventoried at least two weeks prior to scheduled work
- Receive, inventory, and document all equipment and material deliveries; report discrepancies to the Project Manager
- Generate detailed weld maps for all installed piping
- Submit accurate weekly timesheets for all field hands and rig welders
- Conduct daily coordination meetings and provide technical guidance and problem‑solving support
- Maintain accurate field documentation and ensure CIMCO vehicles and tool trailers are properly maintained
- Verify current project documentation is followed, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Deliver quality red‑lined as‑built drawings upon project completion
- Assist with material takeoffs and rental equipment identification
- Support development of 3‑week look‑ahead schedules and crane pick plans with safety requirements
What You Bring
- 7–10 years of experience in industrial refrigeration construction, including ammonia systems
- 3+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding, reciprocating and screw compressors, and cold storage construction standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with IIAR standards and pressure testing methods
- RETA 1 & 2 certification (preferred; must be willing to obtain)
- Universal EPA certification (preferred; must be willing to obtain)
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and crews
- Proficiency with basic computer tools for documentation and scheduling
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated or confined spaces
- Ability to work extended shifts in varying weather conditions
