OverviewTiello has partnered with one of the nation’s leading Commercial Masonry Contractors in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area on their search for a Project Manager for Commercial Masonry Construction projects exceeding $20MM. The Project Manager will serve as the company’s point of contact with the client and the construction team when required. You will influence the safety culture and have authority to make decisions on the contractor’s behalf regarding cost and schedule.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct project schedules and budgets for successful completion of each project.
- Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery.
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with owner, architect, and general contractors.
- Provide the client with value‑engineered solutions when applicable.
- Work with superintendents to develop safety plans and implement safety procedures.
- Oversee and mentor the project staff to foster a positive team setting.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial masonry construction experience.
- Experience in both masonry estimating and project management is preferred.
- BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with clients, general contractors, and design consultants.
- Software experience including Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office (including Excel) is required.
- Significant attention to detail is required.
