Position Summary:

Forge Constructors is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in hospitality construction projects
. The Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates, analyzing project drawings and specifications, and collaborating with subcontractors, architects, and internal teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in Addison TX and is in-office Monday through Thursday with the option to work from home on Fridays. The Estimator will report to the Preconstruction Manager.

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, budgets, and quantity takeoffs for hospitality construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitive and complete proposals.
• Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction Manager, project managers, and senior leadership to support bid strategy and project planning.
• Assist in creating value engineering options and alternative solutions to improve project cost and efficiency.
• Maintain organized documentation and cost databases to support accurate forecasting and benchmarking.
• Participate in bid presentations, scope reviews, and contract negotiations as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and key industry partners.

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Hospitality project experience required (e.g., hotels, restaurants, hospitality renovations).
• Experience in infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, and project sequencing.
• Proficiency in estimating software Bluebeam and Procore.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required.
