Senior Estimator – CMAR & Educational Construction Projects
Base pay range: $ – $ per year
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well‑established Texas‑based general contractor with a strong portfolio in K‑12, higher education, and CMAR delivery projects. - Lead the estimation and preconstruction process for CMAR and K‑12 projects.
- Develop detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing, and cost analyses.
- Collaborate closely with owners, architects, and subcontractors to refine budgets and proposals.
- Manage pre‑bid meetings, value engineering exercises, and bid reviews.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to preconstruction best practices.
- 7+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction, ideally with K‑12 or CMAR delivery methods.
- Proven ability to develop accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from $10M–$100M+.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client and team interactions.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
