Senior Project Manager – Mechanical Construction (HVAC & Plumbing)
We are recruiting for a well‑established, mid‑size mechanical contractor based in DFW with over 40 years in the market. Specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal fabrication for commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects, the company delivers design‑build and design‑assist projects using modern CAD/BIM tools and a strong safety culture.
What You’ll Do- Manage multiple full‑scope mechanical construction projects
- Lead Project Engineers and Superintendents
- Oversee contracts, schedules of values, budgets, and cost codes
- Coordinate with field leadership to plan and execute work
- Manage material, equipment, and subcontract procurement
- Review and submit billings, pay applications, and change orders
- Partner with design teams on design‑build projects
- Ensure safety compliance across all assigned projects
- Drive project closeout and retainage recovery
- 8+ years of mechanical construction project management experience with project sizes of $5 million+
- Experience leading Project Managers and Project Engineers
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Financial acumen and cash‑flow management skills
- Proficiency with construction and accounting software (Timberline/Sage, MS Office, CAD/BIM)
