Hydrovac Technician

We are seeking a Hydrovac Technician to assist operators and crew members with manual labor tasks such as setting up and pulling down rigs, operating hydrovac equipment, digging and excavating, performing pre‑and post‑trip inspections, and maintaining a safe job site.

• Full‑time; available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to travel for short periods as needed.

• All weather conditions and noisy environments; physically demanding.
• Extended hours, variable shifts.
• Must wear required PPE.
• May require climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, confined space entry.
• Must repeatedly lift minimum 50 lbs.

• Operate construction equipment and machines.
• Assist with proper disposal of debris and waste materials.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Follow supervisor instructions for manual labor tasks.
• Load and unload construction materials.
• Comply with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Set up and dismantle temporary structures.
• Learn on the job as needed.
• Perform site cleanup.

• Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.
• Pass criminal background check and safety performance verification.
• Work 10‑12+ hour days including some weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.

• Willingness to learn and use emerging technologies.
• Teamwork ability.
• Strong safety acumen.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

• Underground utility and/or construction experience.
• Heavy equipment operation experience.
• Experience with hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck or related industrial work.
