Project Manager – Interiors (Commercial Construction)

A well-established Commercial General Contractor based in Dallas is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ground up projects across healthcare, industrial, and K-12 construction projects. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and the overall execution of interior scopes from start to finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced managing interior packages within complex commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all scopes across multiple commercial construction projects.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timelines and budgets are maintained.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to drive design intent and quality installations.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and constructability.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and performance in the field.
  • Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure quality control.
  • Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and pay applications.
  • Resolve issues proactively to avoid delays and maintain project momentum.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to internal leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients while representing the company with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience with healthcare, industrial, or K-12 projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of interior construction materials, sequencing, and quality standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors.
  • Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary - $120,000 – $160,000 per annum
