Traveling Superintendent – Luxury Retail Construction (Statewide Projects)
An award-winning general contractor is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to support a growing portfolio of luxury retail construction projects across the US. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected builder known for quality delivery, strong leadership, and repeat clients.
The RoleAs a Traveling Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations on high-end retail projects, ensuring schedules, safety, quality, and client expectations are consistently met. Projects are located statewide, with structured travel support in place.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Manage subcontractors, site logistics, schedules, and inspections
- Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to luxury retail standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, architects, and inspectors
- Maintain site documentation, reporting, and quality control processes
- Lead by example with a hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience within luxury retail construction
- Proven background delivering high‑end retail fit‑outs, remodels, or ground‑up projects
- Strong understanding of fast‑track retail schedules
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel statewide across the US
