Senior Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager ready to take the next step to support a growing preconstruction workload. This role requires strong leadership in negotiated work, conceptual estimating, and client-facing preconstruction efforts.

Immediate Need

• Lead negotiated bids and support client decision‑making during preconstruction
• Develop conceptual estimates, detailed budgets, and cost studies
• Independently manage multiple estimates and preconstruction schedules
• Handle procurement and subcontractor buyout activities
• Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to align scope, budget, and schedule
• Prepare estimates using Excel‑based tools (no specialized estimating software)

• 6+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in commercial construction
• Proven success with negotiated projects (hard‑bid‑only experience will not be a fit)
• Strong conceptual estimating and budgeting capabilities
• Experience across multiple project types, including:
  • K-12 / ISD
  • Healthcare (hospital renovation and ground‑up)
  • Religious facilities
  • Office and mixed‑use
  • Renovations, interiors, and MEP scopes
• Ability to manage 4-5 projects concurrently
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Mission‑critical project experience is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Average project size: $7M-$15M
• High‑priority hire due to active and upcoming projects
• Leadership team recently expanded to support growth
