Electrical Estimator

Blayze Group is partnering with a Dallas electrical contractor looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator
.

The business delivers electrical work across commercial, retail, medical and industrial projects, as well as tenant improvements, renovations and capital improvements. Its approach puts an emphasis on responsive bids and close communication with the people delivering the work.

This role will suit an estimator who can take ownership of bids
, understand the electrical scope in detail and produce pricing that is both competitive and buildable.

• Review drawings, specifications and bid documents to establish the full electrical scope
• Complete material takeoffs and develop labor and equipment pricing
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks and opportunities for value engineering
• Prepare clear proposals and submit bids on time
• Work with operations and field teams to check constructability and support project handover
• Manage multiple estimates and bid deadlines

• Work across a varied commercial electrical portfolio
• Take ownership of estimates from initial review through bid submission
• Work closely with company leadership and the teams delivering the projects
• Join a contractor that values accurate pricing, quick responses and follow-through

• Experience estimating for a commercial electrical contractor
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, takeoffs and labor pricing
• Ability to price commercial construction and tenant improvement work independently
• Experience gathering vendor quotes and assembling complete bid packages
• Clear communication with general contractors, suppliers and internal project teams
• Strong organization and judgment when managing competing bid deadlines
