Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and technical expertise to successfully manage projects up to $15M.

• Manage all phases of projects, including pre-construction planning, scheduling, and execution
• Develop, review, and approve project budgets (labor, materials, subcontractors)
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships
• Oversee project financials to ensure profitability and positive cash flow
• Lead project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports and accurate financial projections
• Evaluate construction methods, timelines, and resource allocation
• Approve subcontractor and supplier invoices
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce job site policies
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify future opportunities
• Coordinate CAD, fabrication, and field resources

• Bachelors degree (Construction Management or related field preferred), or 10+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years managing construction projects up to $15M
• Experience in Mechanical Construction, MEP, Commercial, Mission Critical, or Data Center projects
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, including estimating, RFIs, change orders, and project engineering
• Ability to perform project risk analysis (e.g., SWOT)

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles
• Proven leadership and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
• Experience with scheduling, logistics, and procurement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Office Suite
• Familiarity with Auto Bid, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam (preferred)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
