North Texas school districts are investing heavily in new and renovated schools, and my client is a 100% employee-owned commercial general contractor with a strong focus on K-12 construction. As an employee-owner, you’ll help shape the company’s future and share in its long-term success.
They’re hiring an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial projects across the DFW area, with an emphasis on K-12 school construction.
The opportunity- Lead K-12 new-build and renovation projects that matter to local communities

- Local project assignments across DFW, primarily in the Dallas area
- A people-first company committed to elevating its people, projects, partnerships and communities
- Lead daily field operations, planning, scheduling and coordination on commercial and K-12 projects
- Supervise field personnel, subcontractors and construction activities, sequencing work to hold the schedule
- Check work and materials against the contract documents and the company’s quality standards
- Keep the project on schedule and on budget, flagging issues early and working with the team on practical solutions
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive jobsite
- Lead field meetings and document discussions, commitments and action items
- Act as the company’s primary field representative and point of contact with owners, architects, subcontractors and suppliers
- 5+ years of commercial construction field leadership experience
- Superintendent experience on commercial projects valued at $30M or more, delivered through a full project cycle
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, quality standards and jobsite safety
- Excellent scheduling, organization and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Procore, scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- A degree in Construction Management is preferred but not required – strong hands‑on field experience counts
- A project list (with contract values) and three references from owners and/or architects
- K-12 experience across both renovation and new construction
- A well-rounded portfolio of large, complex commercial projects
