Construction Manager
DFW International Airport

Dallas, TX - Fully Onsite

Salary Range - $110,000 to $150,000

Looking to advance your career? Take your skills to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (CHIN) is seeking a talented Construction Manager. Responsible for coordination and monitoring of overall field construction administration activities and/or management of engineering services on projects of a diverse nature in accordance with design specifications to ensure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, within budget, and on schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction management team.
• Assists project manager through the change order process including review of scope and budget proposals. A thorough understanding of project plans and specifications is required.
• Liaison between contractors, end users/stakeholders and the authorities having jurisdiction.
• Has a detailed knowledge of the preparation, updating, and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Prepares meeting minutes and leads meetings when required.
• Continuous coordination and collaboration with the Project Manager to successfully deliver projects.
• Provides input to monthly pay applications.
• Understands and communicates project risks and opportunities throughout the project.
• Applies problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Responsible for project closeout.
• Safety and QA /QC awareness.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years experience performing construction management for new builds or renovations.
• Experience at an airport or large facility with critical operations preferred.
• MEP trade familiarity as well as a thorough grasp of means and methods.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of experience and technical training.
• Excellent communication skills including ability to generate owner specified project status documentation, problem solve with stakeholders, and develop issue resolution reports.
• Competent computer skills with the suite of Microsoft software and Bluebeam.
