General Superintendent – Mission Critical Construction

A leading contractor is hiring a General Superintendent to manage field operations on large-scale, mission-critical projects across the US. The role requires deep construction expertise, proven leadership of field teams, and the ability to deliver complex projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Location: Can be based anywhere in the US; long-term travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all field activities, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
• Direct subcontractors, field staff, and site logistics on multi-phase projects.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Monitor site progress, resolve issues, and drive operational efficiency.
• Enforce compliance with codes, specs, and safety standards.
• Mentor and develop field staff while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience, including leadership on major projects.
• Demonstrated success delivering $100M+ builds in mission-critical or advanced industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and safety programs.
• Effective leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
