Salary Range: $60-70K

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to produce high‑quality content that supports the success of both instructors and participants. The ideal candidate will uphold consistent and standardized writing practices while collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and clarity of all published materials. This role involves working cross-functionally with instructors, SMEs, content designers, and graphic designers to meet learning and development objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate group sessions with SMEs to gather publication requirements.

Revise and update existing materials as needed or requested.

Develop and create course content by organizing and synthesizing complex technical information.

Review industry journals and related resources to stay informed about new and updated products.

Analyze trends and advancements in relevant fields to determine when existing materials require updates or when new content should be developed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

Native-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator).

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in developing instructional content and materials.

Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and clearly communicate complex subjects.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Prior experience creating content related to electrical systems, maintenance practices, or safety training is highly preferred.

Ability to assess learning needs, structure content logically, and design effective curricula.

Proven skill in translating complex concepts into clear, concise, and engaging language.
