Prior documentary experience is preferred but not required if your skillset shows initiative and strong taste.

I’m assembling a small, focused team for a feature documentary centered on the 1970 trial that challenged Yale University and the Black Panther Party. This project blends historical research, interview-driven storytelling, and a modern cinematic approach. We’re in early development and looking for collaborators who understand social-impact filmmaking, lean production, and clear communication.
The tone of the film is intimate, investigative, and culturally grounded. Ideal collaborators enjoy working with minimal bureaucracy, value creative problem-solving, and can help shape the project as it moves toward a Seed and Spark crowdfunding campaign and eventual festival run.
If you’re passionate about historical narratives, justice-centered stories, or indie docs with a political edge, this is the lane.
