D CEO is a national award-winning luxury business magazine celebrating its 20th anniversary in May 2026. Based in Dallas, it has access to—and is trusted by—both influential and under-the-radar leaders shaping the North Texas economy. In addition to its flagship print publication, editors produce the Dallas 500 , The Business of Sports , and daily digital news coverage . D CEO has earned national recognition for editorial excellence and innovation, setting the standard for regional business journalism.

As D Magazine Partners launches a new digital and social strategy to meet the demands of a fast-evolving media landscape, its business media platform—anchored by D CEO —is seeking a Managing Editor who will work with the Editor and Executive Editor to both protect and propel our award-winning brand. This pivotal role bridges legacy craftsmanship with forward-thinking execution—keeping print excellence at the forefront while aligning content operations for a seamless print-to-digital future.

This is an in-office role that collaborates across departments.

• Write, edit, and report on Dallas business news for a C‑suite audience, going beyond the who‑what‑when‑where to focus on the how and why.
• Leverage top leadership access to give readers insights they can’t get anywhere else.
• Maintain editorial excellence, voice consistency, and accuracy.

• Translate content for digital, guided by data and in close collaboration with the digital strategy team.
• Contribute to planning and execution of high‑profile projects such as the Dallas 500 , The Business of Sports , and Greater Good .
• Collaborate with design, digital, marketing, events, and audience teams to support growth of the business media platform.

• A talented writer and editor with at least five years of newsroom or magazine experience.
• A leader who is passionate about the craft of storytelling—and about collaborating with a team of smart, driven, entrepreneurial colleagues.
• A connector who can maintain and build relationships with key business leaders.
• A left‑and‑right‑brain thinker who blends organization, creativity, and strong editorial judgment.
