Position Overview

MCI is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company specializing in tailored solutions for diverse clients. We require consumer collections agents who respectfully recover past‑due consumer accounts by completing a two‑week professional recovery agent training program. Your responsibilities include utilizing contact center technology, negotiating payment terms, and meeting recovery targets while maintaining a professional attitude.

Position Responsibilities
  • Utilize various contact technology and recovery strategies to locate the right parties.
  • Understand the customer’s situation and identify the best means of recovery.
  • Negotiate payment terms with empathy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Make outbound and receive inbound calls, consistently following procedure.
  • Respond effectively to common challenges during collection calls, discussing resolution options.
  • Meet monthly individual goals and perform other assigned duties.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system.
  • Highly reliable with a regular attendance record and punctuality.
  • Ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues.
  • Aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation.
  • Customer‑service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, conscientious).
  • Ability to multi‑task, stay focused, and self‑manage.
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment where change and ambiguity prevail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
Compensation Details

Salary ranges from $36,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, with base wage plus bonuses. The role offers competitive benefits and incentives designed to reward performance and support career growth.

Physical Requirements

The job operates in a professional office environment, largely sedentary. Employees will sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The role may require moving about the office, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
