Description Leo A Daly is seeking passionate and accomplished architects to join our growing hospitality team, celebrated for its commitment to luxury, innovation, and design excellence. As a Hospitality Architect III, you’ll serve as a key contributor in the design and delivery of high-profile hospitality projects. You’ll develop the technical aspects of each project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions. Responsible for design development and construction document production, you’ll ensure that every detail-from concept to execution-reflects our commitment to quality, creativity, and client vision.

Collaborating closely with senior architects, interior designers, and project managers, you’ll help translate ambitious ideas into built environments that embody elegance, wellness, and cultural resonance. Your expertise will support both the aesthetic and technical integrity of our work, advancing our hospitality portfolio with precision and purpose.

General Characteristics and Responsibilities
  • Designs and specify project appropriate architectural requirements.
  • Performs modeling and detailing tasks.
  • Conducts site investigations and observations.
  • Investigates, evaluates and recommends design solutions.
  • Responsible for finished plans, specifications, or approval of materials and construction.
  • May supervise or coordinate the work of other professionals who assist in specific assignments.
  • Development of compelling master planning, design concepts that reflect client vision and brand identity
  • Prepare presentations and drawings communicate design intent
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and contractors to support project delivery
  • Apply foundational knowledge of design principles, materials, and building codes to ensure quality and compliance
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, helping define new ways of thinking and elevating design standards
  • Programming, master planning, massing diagrams, space planning, documentation, and producing deliverable drawing sets..
  • Independently performs modeling and detailing or documentation.
  • Independently perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates.
  • Conduct site investigations and observations related to existing building assessments/investigations, client meetings, or construction jobsite observations
  • Assisting with marketing /business development activities.
  • Attend client and internal meetings. Conduct presentations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Registered Architect.
  • 6 years of experience. Luxury design experience inclusive of Hotels, Resort, F&B and Spa a plus.
  • Must have a natural eye for innovation and detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of design or execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus on large initiatives.
  • Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Programs and 3‑D model software.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited college or university
  • LEED Accreditation
  • Community involvement and participation in AIA or affiliated Architectural organization is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designers as demonstrated by work experience.
  • Participation in the development of projects that have been recognized in the profession including publication and or design awards.
  • Ability to be highly creative and bring abstract ideas into design.
  • Significant Revit and BIM experience
