Licensed Senior Architect


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Senior Architect to lead complex architectural projects from concept through completion. The Senior Architect will be responsible for design leadership, project delivery oversight, client coordination, and team mentoring. This role requires deep technical knowledge, creative excellence, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across multiple phases of work.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural design for assigned projects, including conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project phases.

  • Oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architectural designers, engineers, and external consultants.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Perform site analysis, feasibility studies, and code research as needed.

  • Participate in and lead design reviews, quality control checks, and constructibility assessments.

  • Review and approve design documents and specifications.

  • Supervise and mentor junior architects and support staff; provide technical guidance and development.

  • Contribute to business development efforts, proposals, and presentations.

  • Stay informed about architectural trends, materials, and best practices.


Requirements:

  • Licensed Architect, with NCARB certification preferred.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

  • 7-10+ years of architectural experience, with proven leadership on mid-to-large scale projects.

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office; experience with rendering tools (Lumion, Enscape, etc.) a plus.

  • Deep understanding of construction methods, documentation standards, and detailing.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.

  • LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices is preferred.
